Yaprendí was born from my own experiences as a non-native Spanish speaker. Growing up in a place where language barriers existed, I developed a deep understanding of the challenges and the beauty that language learning brings. Over the years, I honed my skills as a Spanish teacher, transitioning from a high school classroom in Macon, Georgia to the vibrant diversity of New York City. I discovered that language acquisition isn’t just about words—it’s about building bridges between cultures, fostering connection, and developing confidence. My mission is to provide learners with a platform that’s as much about cultural immersion as it is about language mastery. Through personalized coaching, conversation practice, and real-world engagement, I empower learners to break through barriers and speak the language with confidence.

With the YSLE community, I create a safe space for learners to embrace discomfort, celebrate their progress, and deepen their understanding of the language and culture.
